Advertising x Gaming
An SVA graduate with a double major in graphic design and advertising, Christian Lester started his creative career as a copywriter, but would later wind up as a Senior Art Director title working on 1800 Tequila, Atari and luxury cigar brands.
In 2010, Lester took an entrepreneurial left turn and joined mobile gaming startup, Astro Ape Studios. Ten months and four titles later, Zynga Inc. (Words With Friends, FarmVille), acquired the company and Lester hopped on a plane to Reykjavik with a Macbook Pro in tow. Somewhere between a nibble of hákarl (fermented shark) and a nursed sip of Brennivín, Lester would have his first taste of operating remotely as a digital nomad.
Adventures in Crowdfunding
Lester crowdfunded and co-founded a silicone kitchen tool company with partner and CEO Samantha Rose (now CEO of Mvnifest). Entering the era of IoT, the duo combined their passion for coffee and tech to crowdfund a smart coffee grinder; highlighted in James Bidwell's book, "Disrupt! 100 Lessons in Business Innovation."
Generatively Speaking
Lester has been building teams, businesses, and brands remotely for over a decade, but now he's back in the Tri-state offering a full suite of creative services to advertising and media agencies, startups, and evolving businesses, all while plugging in AI prompts, exploring AR’s consumer potential, and shaking out new branding and media opportunities in the Metaverse.
